Leveraging Inductive Automation’s Ignition Platform for Advanced Visualization and Control

We’re proud to be an Inductive Automation Certified Partner Integrator with Gold Ignition status. The Ignition platform provides advanced visualization, seamless integration, and flexible control for industrial operations. MOT’s team uses systems like Perspective and Vision to design intuitive interfaces, implement real-time monitoring, and build data-driven controls that connect your systems and operations.

Ignition’s SCADA capabilities extend beyond plant-floor control, integrating seamlessly with MES and ERP systems. This helps achieve advanced recipe management, live reporting on downtime and efficiency, and detailed insights into product quality and production processes. When implemented, Ignition reduces downtime, enhances process efficiency, and provides greater clarity into your operations.

Our automation engineers continuously explore new possibilities with Ignition, improving decision-making, process visibility, and operational efficiency. With experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects, our engineers have leveraged the Ignition platform to:

  • Develop full vision systems with custom graphics and interfaces
  • Implement recipe management systems for efficient process control
  • Upgrade existing lines with new screens, controls, and equipment integration
  • Enhance systems with robust data analysis and alarm management tools

Meet our Ignition SME

Hi! I’m Matt, MOT’s Ignition SME. I lead the Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) group within the MOT’s Solution Execution (SE) Department. MI takes the industry’s digital transformation to the next level by converting complex data from across manufacturing systems into actionable insights like reports, metrics, and schedules. Through Ignition, we stay at the forefront of SCADA, MES, and ERP solutions. I hold my personal Gold Certification in Ignition development and my role allows me to lead the Ignition SME group in conjunction with being an automation engineer. I’m passionate about Ignition and excited to advance our expertise as MOT grows.

Outside of my engineering work, I could also be considered the office SME for cheesecake baking, photoshop, traveling, and making the most of a work trip.
